Cold Brew

Cold Brew. How to make it? Well there are MANY ways you can make cold brew coffee.

Here are some of my favorite ways to make it.

  1. Hario Cold Brewer. Click here to view it.You’re going to use 130 grams or roughly 18 tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee. You’re going to fill it all the way to the top with water with the coffee ground container in the brewer! Brew time should be 18 to 24 hoursOptional is straining it through a coffee filter to get any smaller grounds that may have gotten through the mesh basket.
  2. French Press. This is definitely the easiest clean up fo the 3 ways I’ve made cold brew. You’ll use 65 grams or roughly 9 tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee. And you’ll use 910 grams of water which is close to 32 ounces of water. Brew time is again 18 to 24 hoursYou’re definitely going to want to use a coffee filter to strain cold brew from the french press. Grounds and other smaller sediment will make its way through the press filter which could result in gritty coffee. This recipe is specifically for a 32oz french press.
  3. Mason JarThis could use the same recipes as both the french press or the Hario Cold Brewer. Or if you dont wanna measure. This is what I’ve done…Fill the mason jar just under a quarter the way full of coarsely ground coffee.Add water till the mason jar is completely full. Strain it with a coffee filter or else you’re going to get a lot of grounds in your coffee.
