So what makes Viking Coffee Co different?
To start, we actually give a damn about our coffee and customers.
We're not here to just make a buck. We're here to ignite the adventurous and courageous American spirit and impact the culture and lives of those we meet along the way.
We've got no plans of leaving or quitting. We've built VCC from literally nothing. Zero experience, zero skills, zero money, zero investments, zero mentoring, and zero customers. Since starting VCC in 2016 we've grown in all these things. We have the best customers a business could ask for, we've got some amazing people who've poured into us, we've built the skills necessary to get to this point where we've got hundreds of people who trust us with their coffee. We couldn't be more grateful for those who support us and trust us.
Currently as of writing this, February 2025, we're a husband and Wife team. Evan and Marissa. We run everything, coffee roasting, packaging, customer service, social, email, marketing, events, and product development. You support real people with a very real dream with a very real company.
We source all of our coffee from David of Green Bean Asia, a good friend of ours. Some of the highest quality coffee we can get for limited runs and our origins of the month. We store this coffee in our climate controlled facility keeping the the coffee in perfect condition. We only roast coffee for what we need and never roast more than that so we're never keeping roasted coffee longer than 5 days. This means you get the freshest coffee possible. No roasting ahead, packaging, and storing in a warehouse.
We prioritize American Made when and where we can. We'd love to have everything we use and sell be made here. But, the amount of coffee we need, can't be produced here; Hawaii just doesn't have the capacity. We're a small growing company and can't afford all these amazing American Made things yet. But we're getting there slowly; one step at a time.
